Rodgers: Rewriting the Dictionary of the Broadway Musical
rodgers100@jwmail.co.uk
This is the complete listing of Richard Rodgers' works available for performance through Josef Weinberger, on behalf of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.
The majority of Rodgers' creative life was, of course, spent in the musical theatre and he made a seminal contribution to that art form. The 22 Rodgers musicals listed below include some of the greatest and most universally popular Broadway titles.
Many of the songs Rodgers created for these shows also took on lives of their own and became standards. Three full-evening revues for small casts and two complete concert evenings with orchestra parade hit after hit of these wonderful songs, while our hire library offers an extensive selection of individual songs, orchestral medleys and arrangements, and Rodgers' ballet and TV music, including Robert Russell Bennett's original theatre orchestrations.
